Beach Sweep - Falmouth, England

What could be more fun than picking up and annotating the trash littered across the beaches of Cornwall located near Falmouth, England!!???? Absolutely nothing! The weather has been good, breezy, cool but not rainy and that's a good thing. Lots of trash on the beaches especially plastic and fishing gear remains. Even when it doesn't look like there is much litter, you can fill a black plastic bag. The fishing line and fishing net parts cause many problems for the dolphons and other fish living in these waters. They become tangled in the twine and unless discovered this way and rescued, they can die from the entanglement. Another place we went was a seal rescue facility. Most of the seals that arrive there only stay until rehabilitated, but there are some that cannot go back into the wild because of severe disability such as blindness. They remain at the facility and are kept as long as necessary.
